My condolences to the family. It's sad to hear of Idabel's passing. She was a wonderful person who was rewarded with an amazingly long and active life.
My deepest condolences on your loss. I was another of Mrs. St. Germain's students, and recall that she loved her students and her work. May you find comfort in her memory.
Julie, I'm sorry to hear about "Mommy Saint", but I know she is in a better place. I was hoping to get in touch with you while you were here, but it didn't work out. My condolences to you and your family.
To the family of Idabel St. Germain and especially Julie and Jennifer, I send my deepest sympathy to you. Idabel was always a special friend to me and to my parents. I first met her at St.Anne's church at the famous "Hunter Supper" when I was young girl. She had a light in her like I have never seen in any other person. She brought a lot of love and happiness to my life. I always enjoyed visiting her at her house and we always had the most enjoyable talks. I truly wish I could be at the service tomorrow but I won't be able to make it. You are in my thoughts and prayers.
Love, Josie
My deepest sympathy to you and your family. Idabel was not only my first grade teacher but she was also a dear friend of my parents. She will always have a special place in my heart. The last time that I talked to her she told said, "There was not a day that I didn't love getting up and going to work." Everyone she taught is a reflection of that "work."
She was a great lady and will be missed.
My earliest memories are of Idabel. My grammas birthday was on the 25th and hers on the 24th they had a get together every year, and all would sit around saying the rosary. (a real wild crew) I am just one of hundreds of first graders who have fond memories of her. She treated each and everyone of us not just as students, but as we were her own children. No matter how much we aged, she never forgot our face. She was a wonderful lady, God Bless Her, and may she rest in peace.

Julie, Margie and I want to extend our condolences on your loss. Uncle Jerry and Aunt Margie
To the family of Idabel St. Germain:
My sincerest and deepest condolences in the loss of Mrs. St. Germain. Besides being the best teacher in my life, she was an incredible person with unlimited patience and "love" of people, especially children. Since my first-grade experience with her as my teacher, she has been (and will continue to be) a mentor for me. May the spirit and love of her remain with y'all and may it be transferred to generations hereafter.
I am completely devastated at the news, although not as much as you. Mrs. St Germain was a guiding piller in my life and will continue to be till I die. She helped form my life through ways shown as well as ways taught. I cannot tell you how much she is missed but she will always be with me in spirit for guidance.
