Maryann Leaf's Obituary
Maryann Leaf, age 82 of L’Anse, MI passed away Sunday, March 30, 2025 at Bayside Village, L’Anse. She was born in Sidnaw, MI on May 19, 1942 the daughter of the late Theodore “Ted” and Saimi (Heikkinen) Rolloff. Maryann graduated from L’Anse High School. She married Kenneth Leaf in Sidnaw on June 20, 1964. He preceded her in death in 2007. Maryann enjoyed house work, crossword puzzles, yard work and spending time with her family. She was an avid Purple Hornet Football fan, and if she couldn’t attend the games in person, she always listened to them being broadcast on the radio.
Maryann is survived by her loving sons Michael “Mike” (Chris) Leaf of Sidnaw, Mark Leaf of L’Anse, and Kenneth Leaf of L’Anse, grandson Kenneth, step granddaughter Kandis, step great granddaughter Lily, and brother Richard (LeeAnn) Rolloff of Nebraska. Numerous nieces, nephews and cousins also survive. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, brother William and sisters Bonnie and Elvie.
Private family graveside service will take place in the spring in the Covington Cemetery.
The Reid Funeral Service and Chapel, L’Anse has been entrusted with the funeral arrangements.
