Pat, Was so sorry to hear about Mel's passing from your phone call the other day. We will always remember his sunny disposition. He was so cheerful all the time. I know he will be greatly missed by you and your family. Please stay in touch. Tom and Sandy Schroeder

We will sure miss Mel here at the lumberyard, he was not only a great customer but a good friend. We are so sorry for your loss and yours. When I think of Mel I can see his smiling face. He was so good to us in bringing us tomatoes in the spring. Brian and I are more then willing to heip with anything around the house, plese call if you need help with anything. Dear Pat and family,
Mr. Kivela was a favorite teacher of mine at Maple Valley. I was in his Architectural and Mechanical Drawing class. He even shared his technique of picking a winning horse from the horse racing program with me. He sure made my senior year enjoyable. I still have a painting he made on a piece of slate. It is a prized possession of mine from school. I was saddened to read of his passing, so sorry for your loss. ~Kristie

dear pat, you have our deepest sympathy. i spent many a pleasent day with mel at the golf course. he was smart, witty and a gentleman. he will be missed.
Dear Pat: I was so sorry to hear of Mel's passing. I really missed both of you this past winter season here in Lakeland FL. I'm also going to miss getting e-mails from Mel. I always looked forward to the jokes he sent me. I know he and Paul are in a much better place now, their suffering is over and both of them are at now at peace. Please call me if you need me to do anything down here.
