MICHAEL H. "OTIS" LeCLAIRE's Obituary
MICHAEL H. “OTIS” LeCLAIRE, age 67, of L’Anse passed away Wednesday, October 30, 2013 at Marquette General Hospital, Marquette, following a period of ill health. He was born in L’Anse on July 10, 1946 the son of the late Rudolph and Margaret (Londo) LeClaire. Otis graduated from L’Anse High School. He had been employed at CerteinTeed Ceiling Company, L’Anse. Otis enjoyed bowling, being in the outdoors hunting, fishing, and taking trips to Isle Royal. He was an avid Lions fan.
Otis is survived by his daughter Michelle Joki of L’Anse, brothers Patrick (Sharon) LeClaire of Texas, David (Tammy) LeClaire of L’Anse, and Robert (Susan) LeClaire of WI, and sister Sharon Winter of Detroit. Numerous nieces, and nephews, and many friends also survive. He was preceded in death by his parents.
A celebration of Otis’s life will be held Saturday, November 9, 2013 from 6 until 9 p.m. at the L’Anse VFW Club. Deacon John Cadeau will lead in a prayer at 7 p.m.
