PATRICK R. "PAT" SOLBERG's Obituary
PATRICK R. “PAT” SOLBERG, 50, of L’Anse, passed away suddenly Tuesday, November 2, 2004 at Baraga County Memorial Hospital. He was born in Detroit, MI. on July 24, 1954 son of the late Arthur and Rita (Tobin) Solberg. Pat graduated from high school in Detroit. He had resided in L’Anse for the past 7 years. Pat worked as a carpenter in various construction jobs. He enjoyed watching television, reading and talking to his family and friends.
Mr. Solberg is survived by his loving brother, Steve (Vicky) Solberg of L’Anse. Numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins also survive. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Artie and Michael.
Funeral services for Mr. Solberg were held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, November 6, 2004 at the Reid Funeral Service and Chapel, L’Anse with Father Chacko officiating. Interment will take place in the L’Anse Evergreen Cemetery. The family received friends at the funeral chapel on Saturday from 11:00 a.m. until time of the service. Following the service, friends were invited to join the family for fellowship and luncheon in the Harrington gathering room, located at the funeral home.
