Thank you all fro your kind words. This is Samantha, Penny's granddaughter. My grandma was by far the sweetest and kindest woman I know. With every visit we made to her (which was not near enough), she was always so excited to show us the great town of L'Anse and the great people in it. We couldn't walk down the street without her greeting everyone we walked past with a Hello and a smile. I think she knew almost everyone in L'Anse, she could have been the town celebrity. After seeing all condolences posted on this site, I think she truly made an impact on all she came across in life, and just maybe she did know everyone in L'Anse. I look forward to meeting all of her friends and family from up north that she didn't get the chance to introduce us too at Zeba on Saturday, and cannot wait to hear all the stories of just how my grandma Penny affected others. <3
