Ralph L. Aleo's Obituary
Ralph L. Aleo, age 72 of Herman, MI passed away Wednesday, May 6, 2026 surrounded by his loving family at his residence. He was born in Eaton Rapid, MI on April 10, 1954 the son of Donald and Virginia (Chadwick) Aleo. He graduated from Eaton Rapids High School in 1973. After graduation he attended trade school in Florida. In 2005 he retired from General Motors, and moved to Herman.
Retirement allowed him to be closer to his children and watch their families grow. He loved all of his grandchildren dearly. He was an extreme outdoorsman. Always hunting, fishing and enjoying the beautiful surroundings.
Ralph is survived by his loving sons Gregory “Greg” (Jolene) Aleo of Herman and Justin (Heather) Aleo of Baraga, mother Virginia, a sister Cindy, brothers Bobby (Pam), Mike, Sam (Stacy), a sister-in-law Sue, numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father Donald Aleo, daughter Taisha Aleo, brothers Donny and Larry.
Private family services will be held at a later date.
The Reid Funeal Service and Chapel, L'Anse has been entrusted with the arrangements.
