Richard A Anderson Sr.'s Obituary
Richard A. Anderson, Sr. age 62, of Trout Creek, MI passed away at his home on Monday, August 8, 2016 with his loving family by his side. He was born in Ontonagon on November 17, 1953 the son of the late Harold and Selma (Keranen) Anderson. Richard graduated from Ewen Trout Creek High School. He worked for the White Pine Copper Mine for many years and had worked as a logger for various logging companies. Richard had volunteered for the Trout Creek Fire Department and was a member of the Trout Creek Presbyterian Church. Richard remained a lifetime area resident. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting, trapping and fishing.
Richard is survived by his loving children Richard (Rebecca) Anderson, Jr of Prentice, WI, Nicole Anderson (Andrew Syrjala) of Watton, MI, Bill (Rebecca) Anderson of Paynesville, MI, and Joshua Anderson (Nicole Benson) of Menomonie, WI. grandchildren Dustin, Gage, Victoria, Aidan, Alex, Daymian, Mia, Connor, Bill Jr. and Evan, brothers George (Leann) Anderson, Harry Anderson and Roy Anderson all of Trout Creek, mother-in-law Jean Cronkright of Trout Creek and the children’s mother Cindy Cronkright of Marquette, MI.
He was preceded in death by his parents Harold and Selma Anderson, his adoptive parents Bud and Leona Bonin, brothers Bob and Richard Bonin, sisters Doris Mae, Gladys and Shirley, friend and brother-in-law Daniel Teikari and sauna partner and father-in-law Joe.
A graveside service for Richard was held at 3 p.m. on Saturday, August 20, 2016 at the Trout Creek Cemetery with Reverend William Abrams officiating.
