Robert J. "Bob" Jacobson's Obituary
Robert J. "Bob" Jacobson, age 82 of Watton, MI passed away at his home on Saturday, April 1, 2023. He was born in Watton on March 24, 1941 the son of the late John and Hilma (Rajala) Jacobson. Bob attended school in Watton and L’Anse. He had been employed in the logging industry as a logger until his retirement. Bob married the former Jannet Kranstz at Trinity Lutheran Church, Covington. She preceded him in death. Bob enjoyed hunting, fishing and going to “the corner’ for coffee and to visit with friends.
Bob is survived by his step children, step grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins, and many friends. Bob was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, and his brother Russell.
Graveside services for Bob will be held at 11 a.m, Friday, June 9, 2023 in the Covington Cemetery, Covington, MI with Pastor Richard Little officiating.
The Reid Funeral Service and Chapel, L’Anse has been entrusted with the funeral arrangements.
