ROBERT R. SULLIVAN's Obituary
ROBERT R. SULLIVAN, 79, of L'Anse passed away Friday, June 13, 2008 at Bell Memorial Hospital, Ishpeming, MI. He was born in Alston, MI. on July 19, 1928 the son of the late Max C. and Martha (Ulber) Sullivan. Bob attended school in Alston. He married the former June Bessette in Houghton on July 22, 1948. Bob was a truck driver for CCI until his retirement in 1986 due to illness. He was a member of United Methodist Church. Bob enjoyed wood working, hunting, fishing, traveling, camping and going to the casino.
Mr. Sullivan is survived by his loving wife of almost 60 years, June, children, Robert (Gayl) Sullivan of Milwaukee, Max (Marian) Sullivan of Florence, Daniel Sullivan of L'Anse, and Jerri Lynn (Lawrence) Thomas of Shakopee, MN.,14 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren. Numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, great great nieces and nephews and cousins also survive. He was preceded in death by 3 brothers, and 3 sisters.
Family funeral services were held with Pastor John Henry officiating. Interment will take place in the Baraga Cemetery.
