ROBERT W. "BOB" BROWNLEE, 82, of L"Anse passed away early Tuesday morning, May 9, 2006 at his residence in L"Anse following a period of ill health. He was born in Sault Ste. Marie, MI. on January 29, 1924 son of the late Lewis and Read Obituary
Just received the news about Bob from my brother Tom. Dale and I send our deepest sympathy to all the family. Know he will be greatly missed by you and we will defintely miss our friendly neighbor at Birch Point..as the Brownlees have been at the beach as long as I can remember! The last few years I would often just sit and visit with him. Know how much he enjoyed logging the passage of every ship going by...Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
Brownlee Family, our sincere sympathy to everyone at this very difficult time. Joe has many fond memories of Drum Corp days and we just about drove your Dad nuts I think when we had our offices in the Legion Bldg. but he never ever complained, always was there for us whenever we needed him. May all your memories give you strength.
My deepest sympathy to all the family members. I am so glad I got to spend several summers with him and my grandfather Charles (Chuck) Brownlee out at "the cabin" wonderful place full of great memories. My fiance and I a few years ago got to spend some time out at "the cabin" so I could show her what a awsome place this was and I am so glad that Uncle Bob let us take part in that. He will be missed

So sorry to here of your Father's passing. Will miss him on the beach which I'm sure was one of his favorite places. Our thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family . We are down here in Florida checking out place from the fires that were near our place in Sugar Mill which has been in the news recently. Our home was not touched by fire. It is extremely dry here in New Smyrna Beach. If I can do anything at the cabin, please feel free to contact us. Hope you can make it North this summer.
Dear Carol and family; Please accept our sincere sympathy in your time of grief, Bob was a friend to all who always loved and respected God and his fellow man. Be assured that he is now with the Lord in peace forever. He earned that because of the way he lived.
Bob's Family, Im so sorry for your loss. He was a great man in this town and will be remembered as that. I will always remember Nancy and my sister dragging me around from your house to ours. And the sled hill which every kid around had fun at. Bob always had a smile and a laugh. Doug
Jim, Carol, Nancy,,I am so sorry to hear of the loss of your dad, I have fond memories of playing in the gully, sledding and shooting bows and arrows in your back yard, It is sad that we all age and leave loved ones behind. My prayers are with you.
