RODNEY C. VARLINE's Obituary
RODNEY C. VARLINE, age 72, of Baraga passed away at his residence on Thursday, February 2, 2012. He was born in L’Anse on August 14, 1939 the son of the late Carl and Sylvia (Pirkkola) Varline. Rodney graduated from Baraga High School in 1957. He had worked as a fabricator for Selkey Manufacturing for over 20 years. Rodney retired in 2002. He was a member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church, Baraga. Rodney enjoyed hunting, fishing, and working in his vegetable garden.
Mr. Varline is survived by his children Dave (Tanya) Varline of Baraga, Daniel (Nancy) Varline of Wausau, WI, and John (Kerry) Varline of Baraga, daughters Debra (Jon) Cramer of Appleton, WI, and Elizabeth (Jay) Fish of Stratford, WI, and15 grandchildren. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister.
