Rose Ann Marie Coen's Obituary
Rose Ann Marie Coen of Aura passed away at Baraga County Memorial Hospital on April 4, 2016 after a courageous battle with cancer. Rose Ann was born February 25, 1946 to Arvo and Elizabeth (Haataja) Parkila. She graduated from Baraga High School. Rose Ann worked for BHK for fourteen years and Baraga High School for 21 years. She was a member of the Baraga Fire Department Auxiliary. Rose Ann loved doing her crafts, making real cedar wreaths and center pieces. She loved fishing for Lake Trout and her dog Shoo. Rose Ann loved camping at Lake Chippewa in Hayward, WI.
Rose Ann is survived by her husband Bob Coen, children Dale (Coleen) Selden, Mike (Jennifer) Selden, Mary (Tim) Waddell, James (Michelle) Coen, Tom (Lisa) Coen, grandchildren Josh (Sarah) Linder, Joe (Sarah) Linder, Ashley (Jason) Mitchell, James (Kendal) Coen, Jason (Steph) Coen, Kayla (Dave) Harden, Alisha Lindblom, Krystal (Kendel) Minns, Olivia Coen, Madison Coen, Isabell Coen, Amanda Selden, nine grandchildren, her mother Elizabeth Holzman, 2 sisters and a brother. She was preceded in death by her father Arvo, step father Ray Kokko, and infant daughter Angel.
Private family services will be held at a later time.
