SHIRLEY M. BLEILE's Obituary
SHIRLEY M. BLEILE, 71, of White Pine and formerly of Baraga, passed away Friday, June, 1, 2007 at Marquette General Hospital. She had been ill for a week. Shirley was born in Baraga on May 4, 1936, daughter of the late Ernest and Anna (Sterk) Kunick. She attended school in Baraga and graduated from Baraga High School in 1972 along with her eldest daughter. On August 15, 1953 she married Richard Bleile in Baraga. He passed away in 2003. She and her late husband Richard operated the Lakeview Hardware in L'Anse until it was sold and then she was employed as an aide at the former Winkler Nursing home. She enjoyed gardening, crocheting, wordbooks and her pet yorkie "Zoe". Shirley had resided in White Pine for the last 3 years.
Shirley is survived by her loving children, Richard C. (Deb) Bleile of York, PA., daughter Bonnie (Michael) Razmus of White Pine, and daughter Diane (Gary) Banbury, of Rathdrum, ID, grand children Amber, Lexie, Michael, Jessica, Rusty, Alexa, Shelby, and Morgan; great grandchildren Naomie, Anders, and Kelsea. She is also survived by 1 brother and 4 sisters, numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by a son William, 1 brother and 3 sisters.
Family services were held and interment took place in the Baraga Cemetery. In lieu of other expressions of sympathy, the family suggests memorials to the American Cancer Society. The Reid Funeral Service and Chapel, L'Anse, has been entrusted with arrangements. Friends may leave a note of condolence at www. rfsc.net.
