Susan B Pohto's Obituary
Susan B. Pohto, age 55, of Baraga, MI passed away Tuesday, February 6, 2018 at Baraga County Memorial Hospital, L’Anse, MI. She was born in L’Anse on July 6, 1962 the daughter of the late Harold and Ramona (Clisch) Michaels. Susan graduated from Baraga High School. She married Kenneth Pohto on August 27, 1983 in Baraga, MI. Susan enjoyed crafting and quilting and she had donated many of her crafts to raffles and charities, painting and camping. She loved spending time with and spoiling her granddaughter Emilia.
Susan is survived by her loving family, husband Kenneth Pohto of Houghton, children Steven Pohto of Baraga, Kelly Pohto of Baraga, granddaughter Emilia Pohto of Baraga, brothers Harold Michaels of Baraga, Michael (Cathy) Michaels of Green Bay, WI, sisters Kathy Michaels of Baraga and Karen (John) Klobucher of Baraga, sister-in-law Sharon (Bill) Kirchoffer of Baraga. She is also survived by numerous aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother D’Wayne.
A potluck memorial will be held on Saturday, March 10, 2018 from 2 pm until 5 pm at the Ojibwa Senior Center in Baraga, Michigan.
Interment will take place in the Baraga Cemetery
The Reid Funeral Service and Chapel, L’Anse, MI has been entrusted with the arrangements.
