TABATHIA NICOLE MILLER's Obituary
TABATHIA NICOLE MILLER, age 31, of Baraga, passed away unexpectedly at her residence on Wednesday, July 24, 2013. She was born in Hancock on May 28, 1982 the daughter of Craig and Jacqueline “Jackie” (Lanala) Miller. Tabathia graduated from Chassell High School in 2001. She was a member of St. Ignatius Catholic Church, Hancock, MI, and the Baraga County Women’s Softball League. Tabathia was a supervisor at the Ojibwa Casino, Baraga, and a bartender at the Side Track Bar in Baraga. She enjoyed camping, kayaking, going to sporting events, and spending time with her dogs Bella, Tank, and Stormy. Tabathia’s infectious smile would light up a room and make everyone around her smile. Her helpful and friendly personality will be missed by everyone that knew her.
Tabathia is survived by her loving parents Craig and Jackie Miller of Chassell, sisters Trinia Miller of Hancock, Tracy Miller, and Teirdra Miller of Green Bay, WI, grandparents Warren and Lorraine Miller of Alston, nephews Domanic and Colson, and niece Skylar, aunts, uncles, and cousins, and “nephews” Willie, Steele, Ty, and Robert. She is also survived by her girlfriend Suzy Jondreau. She was preceded in death by her Aunt Sherry, and her cousin Bobby.
Funeral services for Tabathia were held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 30, 2013 at the Reid Funeral Service and Chapel, L’Anse with Pastor Jered Niemela officiating. The family greeted friends at the funeral chapel on Tuesday from 10 a.m. until the time of service. Following the funeral service, the family invited friends to join them for fellowship and a luncheon in the Harrington Gathering Room, located at the funeral chapel.
