TERRENCE N. “SKINNY” KENT, 62, of L’Anse, MI. passed away suddenly Tuesday, April 26, 2011, at Baraga County Memorial Hospital, L’Anse. He was born in L’Anse on June 20, 1948 the son of the late Kenneth and Connie (LaBelle) Kent. Read Obituary
Skinny, was a friend to all. I will never forgot when we had a terrible storm (whiteout conditions) and Skinny made the dangerous journey out to deliver my much needed medication. He was always generous and kind and never, never asked anything in return. You will be sadly missed by many Skinny, especially the people you have helped in their time of need. God Bless.
Skinny was a classmate of mine. May his family find peace in their memories. My prayers are with you.
I will always be grateful to "Skinny" for supervising us at the old LHS gym. The time that I had playing basketball and weight training with my friend's during open gym time was some of the funnest times of my life. Thanks "Skinny" for caring so much for us young kids!!
terrys family, it was great knowing him for so many years. he would take time to chat with us kids when he was passing by on his mail route. and in the same style, he had some kind words to share about my young dog last monday evening while he was out delivering prescriptions. some people are an institution in their hometowns, and he certainly was all of that. my condolences.
Nola, Scott, Dodo, Roger, Dean, Don and families: I babysat for Nola and Scott when Teri and Joan lived across the street from us. My folks (Con and Therese) looked forward to Terry delivering the mail everyday - My sincere sympathy to you for the loss of such a fun and loving person. I'm sure Uncle Bob and cousin Bobby are making him comfortable in heaven.

I was deeply saddened to hear of Terry's passing. My memories of growing up as cousins will always be with me. He was so quick witted and never failed to make me laugh. My sympathy to the entire family. I regret that distance prevented me from attending the service.

Pat and I are so sorry for your loss. It is also L'Anse's loss. One afternoon Pat and I were having trouble with our van in front of the SHS....Skinny drove past us and then came back, to ask if he could help us.....I've never forgotten that.
