THERESE A. LATTREL's Obituary
THERESE A. LATTREL, age 80, of L’Anse, passed away Thursday, March 22, 2012 at Bayside Village, L’Anse following a lengthy illness. She was born in Hubbell, MI on March 26, 1931 the daughter of the late Adelore and Josephine (Monette) Archambeau. Therese graduated from Baraga High School in 1948. She married Jack A. Lattrel on September 30, 1950 at St. Ann’s Catholic Church, Baraga. Therese was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. She enjoyed square dancing with her husband, planting flowers, cooking, baking, and talking on the phone. While their children were young Therese and Jack’s house was where the neighborhood children loved to hang out. She was “mom’ to all of them. Therese’s greatest joy was spending time with her children, and grandchildren.
Mrs. Lattrel is survived by her husband Jack, daughters Christine Lattrel of Clarksville, TN, and Susan (Greg) Sobolewski of Winona, MN, grandchildren Stephen, Tracey, David, Amy, and John, great grandchildren Zoey, and Tori. Numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive. She was preceded in death by her son John, and her sister Doris.
A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated at 11 a.m on Tuesday, March 27, 2012 from Sacred Heart Catholic Church, L’Anse with Father John Longbucco, celebrant. Interment took place in the L’Anse Evergreen Cemetery. The family received friends at the church on Tuesday from 10 a.m. until the time of the Mass.
