VIRGINIA J. DUDO's Obituary
VIRGINIA J. DUDO, 92, of L'Anse, passed away Friday, September 11, 2009, at Bayside Village, L'Anse. She had been a resident there for 3 months. Virginia was born in L'Anse on June 24, 1917 the daughter of the late Joseph L. and Annie (Cyzkoski) Coskie. She graduated from L'Anse High School in 1935. Virginia married Louis Dudo at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, L'Anse in 1936. He preceded her in death in 1993. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Virginia enjoyed flower gardening and spending time with her family. She loved bingo and was a regular member of the local “Bingo Club”.
Mrs. Dudo is survived by her loving children Robert (Mary) Dudo of Zepher Hills, Edward “Jack” Dudo of Phoenix, AZ., and Louis Dudo of L'Anse, Mary Lou (Bob) Bucklin of Zepher Hills, Joan Dipzinski of Zepher Hills, and Judy (Bill) Jaeger of Las Cruses, 16 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren, and sister, Lucille Coleman of L'Anse. Numerous nieces, nephews and other family members also survive. She was preceded in death by 2 grandchildren, 2 brothers, and 6 sisters.
A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated at 11 a.m. Thursday, September 17, 2009 from Sacred Heart Catholic Church, L'Anse with Father John Longbucco, celebrant. The family received friends on Wednesday, September 16, 2009 from 6 until 8 p.m at the Reid Funeral Service and Chapel, L'Anse with a parish prayer service being held at 7 p.m. Interment took place in the L'Anse Evergreen Cemetery.
