My sincere condolences to all Mrs. Kennedy's family. Mrs. Kennedy was my teacher at Sidnaw school. She was a saint to put up with my many shenanigans and I enjoyed being her pupil very much. She was a great lady I was so very lucky to know her.
So sorry for the loss of a great lady, she will be greatly missed by many!
When I was a principal and teacher in Sidnaw from 1966 to 1968, I taught side by side with Mrs. Kennedy. She was a wonderful teacher and she gave me, a novice, many good teaching tips. Also, I well remember Bart and Faith, for we attended L'Anse High School together. Yes, Vivian truly was a lady.
I have very fond memories of Mrs. Kennedy, as our family would often stay at Kennedy's Cabins when I was a kid and my dad was a Methodist minister in the U.P. My funniest memory is when dad and I tipped the boat over in Lake 13 when I was in college, and we had to wear Mrs. Kennedy's bathrobes while our clothes were in her dryer. What a sight! At least she had a pasty for each of us to eat while we waited. Thank goodness no cell phones to record that sight! Such a wonderful woman; I know she'll be missed, but always loved by all who knew her.
