WANDA R. HEINO's Obituary
WANDA R. HEINO, 79 of Baraga, passed away Sunday, August 29, 2010 at Baraga County Memorial Hospital, L’Anse. She had been a patient there for a week. Wanda was born in Goose Creek, TN. on April 3, 1931 the daughter of the late Floyd E. and Sammye (Lane) Sharp. She married Albert Heino in Shelbyville, TN. on April 11, 1960. He preceded her in death on July 22, 2007. Wanda was employed by the Department of Defense as the lead secretary for a general at the Pentagon. Most recently, she was a secretary at the Copper Country Mental Health Department until her retirement in 1985. Her grandchildren were the love of her life.
Mrs. Heino is survived by her loving children, Lisa Meade of Tampa, FL., and Jeff (Anne) Heino of Spread Eagle, WI., grandchildren, Abbey, Jared, and Samantha, sister, Judy (Phil) Bennett of Brentwood, TN. and nephew, Michael Fry. She was preceded in death by her infant daughter, Lori Ann.
Family services have been scheduled for a later date. Interment will take place in the Baraga Cemetery.
