WARD A. DANIELSON's Obituary
WARD A. DANIELSON, 72, of L’Anse, passed away suddenly Sunday, December 5, 2010 at Baraga County Memorial Hospital. He was born in Hancock, MI. on September 23, 1938 the son of the late Ingward and Agnes Caroline (Andersen) Danielson. Ward graduated from L’Anse High School in 1957. Following graduation he lived in Rice Lake and Kenosha where he worked on the B.F. Jones for the Wilson Transit Company, and was an inspector at American Motors. Following his retirement due to ill health, Ward moved back to L’Anse. He married the former Tina Allen on September 5, 1992 in L’Anse. Ward enjoyed being with his family and friends and meeting new friends on his daily trips around town. He was a wonderful husband, father, brother and friend. Ward enjoyed life to the fullest with fishing, metal detecting, gardening, cooking, and playing the stock market. He and Tina cherished their days spent in the woods, berry picking, asparagus hunting, walking the beaches, and observing wild life. Ward played trumpet for many years and thoroughly enjoyed music. He will be truly missed.
Mr. Danielson is survived by his loving wife Tina, children Eric Danielson of Baraga, Mark Danielson of Baraga, and Sandy Michels of Kiel, WI., step daughter Justine (Paul) Mancheski of Door County, WI, grandchildren Taylor, Jericho, Erica, Adam, and Bradley, step grandchildren Eli, and Janae, and sister Peggy (Ed) Mobley of Westerville, Ohio. Several nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive.
Family services were held for Mr. Danielson. Interment took place in the Evergreen Cemetery.
