WILLIAM L. DECKER's Obituary
William L. Decker, age 60, passed away at his residence in Baraga on Tuesday, July 17, 2012. He was born in Ironwood, MI on January 21, 1952 the son of the late Walter L and Elsie (Phillips) Decker, Sr. Bill graduated from Ironwood High School in 1970. He was a self-employed carpenter and worked for various contractors in the area. He enjoyed fishing, working with leather and going antiquing.
Mr. Decker is survived by his wife and long time friend Ruth, son Jason, daughter Jessica of Minneapolis, 1 grandchild, brothers Clifford Decker of Hurley, WI, and Walter (Karen) Decker, Jr. of WI, sisters Margaret (Bill) Jackson of Ironwood, Alice (Peter) Pertile of Pine Lake, WI, and Cathy (Don) Pingle of Minneapolis. He was preceded in death by his sister Elizabeth, and his sister-in-law Kay.
Private services for Mr. Decker will be held at a later date.
