William J. "Bill" Timmers' Obituary
William J. (Bill) Timmers passed unexpectedly on June 29, 2018. Son of William and Veronica (O’Barski) Timmers. Born December 06, 1943. He married Mary (Pynenberg) Timmers on October 31, 1986. Bill served in the Army from 1962-1965. He was a member of the American Legion Post 60 in Kimberly. Bill was employed for 35 years at the Paper Mill in Kimberly.
Bill is survived by his four children and 3 stepsons, Elizabeth (Urs) Haltinner, children Andra (Jake) Powell, Alexa Haltinner. Kristin (Roger) Jansen, children, Taylor, Mikayla, Nate. William Jr. (Paula) Timmers children Brennan Pierce, William Timmers. Steven (Jolene) Timmers, children Steven, Trevor. Mother of his 4 children Marilyn Wittmann Knier. Thomas Van Cuyk son Jacob. Tim Van Cuyk, children Kelsey Geiger, Gavin, Violet. Troy Van Cuyk children Mackenzie, Kendall, Jory.
Sister’s Carol (Harold) Gilbertson. Romayne Sieb. Marlene (Walter) Theyerl. Bill’s In-Laws Cindy (Bob) Wolf, Nancy (Larry) Novak, Cindy Pynenberg, Jim (Beverly) Pynenberg, Tom (Be) Pynenberg, Mike (Connie) Pynenberg, Lenny (Laurie) Pynenberg, David (Wanna) Pynenberg. Preceded in death by his parents, brother in law Don Sieb. His parent in-laws Richard and Ann Pynenberg, brother in law Richard Pynenberg. Bill enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren. Sports, Sheepshead, early morning coffee with his McDonald buddies.
Services will be held on Saturday, July 7, 2018 at St. Paul’s Church on 410 Wallace St. Combined Locks. With Fr. Andrew Kysely and Fr. John Schuh. Visitation is from 9:15- 11:45 A.M. Mass to follow at Noon.
Bill’s last days were spent on Huron Bay Michigan, where he enjoyed God’s beauty, with Mary and friends Dick & Lynn Kubit.
