It was with very heavy heart, that I read this obituary. Even though I have not seen her in some time, I loved this lady.She was the Backbone, the encouragement and the spirit that keep the Berts Beauties ball team together all those years.I remember how hard we all worked to build the Ball Field on the Skanee road. She kept us dedicated to the cause. I think that she keep every memento from over the years, and we had talked about getting together a few years ago. She always said that she was going to be buried in her baseball uniform. Her sense of humor, love of life and love of friends was so special She will be deeply missed.If you have any Berts Beauties pictures, newspaper clips, or just little things that you are getting rid of, I would like to get a few rememberance--We were together many years--God be with you all--Joan jestila
