To Glenn and the whole family. Last summer when Alma dn I were talking about her cancer, she said she wanted one more summer at the Lake--and she got it! I pondered that perhaps she should have asked for 10 more summers--and she may have gotten them, too! I would have liked that because we were Glenn and Alma's camper neighbors since I was a kid. We've watched and talked through hundreds of sunsets! She shared so freely her faith and wisdom. Through all her many trials here on earth, she never lost her faith. She was never bitter or complaining! She set a high bar for me to follow. And I will try. When she walked through those pearly gates, I am sure she heard "Well done, My good and faithful servant!" I just see her happy, dancing carefree, smiling and laughing with the Lord and her beloved son John. Alma, I look forward to the day that we watch another sunset together on Heaven's shore! Love, Linda

Since I heard of Alma's passing yesterday at Krupp's, I keep thinking about the times we spent together at my hair shop and home.
I feel such a loss. I don't ever want to forget our talks. We shared so much in the years, sad and happy memories.
When asked, Alma had good advice, no matter what the subject. We especially enjoyed talking about the birds at my feeders, while getting her hair done in Twin Lakes. We liked walking around the yard and enjoy the flowers. She would pass on some great tips, especially starting the Fusia plant every spring.
We love you Alma, and will always miss you.

I worked a few hours everyday in the kitchen in Baraga with Alma from 8th through 11th grade. She was always a very sweet and hardworking person. I remember her smile & words very well. Always trying to feed me an extra desert or something... If I'd have known, I would have given Harry & Donna an extra hug last week at my Mom's service. Prayers to Ron & all the family. God Bless.
Glen & Family
Our condolences to you and your family. I worked with John and played cards with Ron. I know quite a few of Elma's brothers all good people may you all help each other though this sad time, God bless you all.
Glenn and Family,
I graduated from Doelle with Alma. She was at once a classmate and a good friend. Whenever I met her later she was always upbeat and very willing to talk. My condolences.

A few months ago Tom & I talked to Alma about her cancer & about dying. She said something like, "I'm not afraid to die. Besides why even think or worry about it now? I still have a lot of living to do! I'll worry about it when it comes & put the worry in God's hands." What an inspiration!
I remember sitting in the ICU waiting room with Glen & Alma when John was shot & died. She was probably one of the most brave people I have ever met.
We will miss her smiling face and her hugs.
