CALVIN E. LEPPANEN, SR., 87, of Baraga, passed away Tuesday, July 3, 2012, at Portage Health, Hancock, MI. He was born in Marquette, MI. on January 6, 1925 the son of the late Manuel and Jenny (Autio) Leppanen. He graduated from P Read Obituary
Mr. Leppanen was like a brother to my father, Harold E. Koivuniemi. I remember visiting with him and Gloria, whenever we went to Baraga to pick strawberries when I was a young girl. Now my sister, Kathy lives in Baraga. May Calvin rest in peace. I will always hold his memory dear. Sharon
