She was also a person who I enjoyed visiting with during teacher-parent visits and also at various community activities.

I am so sorry to hear about Carolyn. I was just getting to know her when she became ill. Some people you meet and think that this is a person that I would like to be friends with. Carolyn was one of those people.
It's hard to loose someone you love but I'm sure you all have wonderful menories to keep you going.I know that is what is making the passing of "Dolly" a little easier.

Jeff: I had heard your Mom was sick. She was a great friend. She was one of the elementary teacher I enjoyed. Her sense of humor was great. It isn't easy to lose a Mom, but the memories will last forever.
