DOANE A. SAUVOLA, 73, of Baraga, MI., passed away Tuesday, December 25, 2012 surrounded by her loving family at her daughter’s home in L’Anse. She was born in L’Anse, MI. on September 9, 1939 the daughter of the late Albert and Ve Read Obituary
We are so sorry for your loss. Doane was a classmate of mine in the Baraga school. She was a very nice person.

Another angel enters the wondrous heavens! Well Lord knows Doane, Kim and my mom are probably already engaged in a board game or cards, eating Doane's delicious creations. Such wonderful, warm memories of our families hanging out together; the simplicity of it all.

My deepest sympathy and prayers to all of you. I have so many memories of your mom. When we first moved to the UP, our first house was across the street from you guys. Doane, Phyllis and my mom hung out together all the time. I will never forget the finnish pancakes and rubber pancakes that she made. Thanks to Stacy, she gave me the recipe.
