DONALD E. “DONNIE” BRUNET, SR., 76, of L'Anse, MI. passed away Wednesday morning, November 11, 2009 at Baraga County Memorial Hospital following a lengthy illness. He was born in Pequaming, MI. on April 1, 1933 the son of the late Read Obituary
Ethel and Family,
I am so sorry to hear about Donny, you are in my prayers. I have very fond memories of Donny, his best quality was his great sense of humor, you would put my dad and Donny together and laughter was in the room. Many fond memories of the Legion.
You have a Great Guardian Angel watching over you.

Dear Ethel and family,
Growing up, we knew the Brunet kids and their cousins, our neighbors. The family is a warm part of my memories. In my adult life, Ethel and Don were hard workers at the Legion and Ethel: you are one of the most gracious and lovely women I know. It always made my day to see you at church or at the hilltop. Continue to be strong and feel the comfort of that wonderful family and extended family that you have. The last time I saw you, Don and my Dad went in the elevator together at church. I thought to myself - there's a couple of guys for ya!

It has been years since I left the Lanse area.
I worked with Donald at Celotex as one of his supervisors over a seventeen year span.
I have many fond memories of the people I worked with during my tenure in Lanse. Donald was one person whose memory has remained with me over the years more so than many of the others I worked with.
He was always polite ,easy going and a person with very strong values.
Celotex was fortunate to have had Don as an employee .
He was an execptional employee and I am sure a better husband and father.
