Ellen's Family: I was so sorry to hear about her passing. I used to live next door to the Herrala's on 3rd Street, many years ago and got to know the family. Over the years whenever I saw her she was always smiling and friendly, always remembered who I was! My thoughts and prayers are with all of you.
I just found out of Ellen's passing away. I am in such shock, that I can't put into words. I enjoyed working with Ellie at BCHM. I will never forget her. We had many giggles together. We send our deepest sympathy to all of the family.

I knew Ellen through Dr. Kroll's office I and the other girls at the Sawyer Medical Center were shocked to here of her passing. On many a day Ellen would be on her walk and have a pit stop at the office. We all enjoyed her very much she had many stories to tell and always made us laugh. We were saddened to find out her husband was ill and she was moving back to L'Anse but happy to know she would be closer to her family. I am glad to have known her for the short time I did and will think of her often. My deepest sympathy to her family and all who knew her. She will be missed deeply. Our prayers to the family.
My sympathy to all of Ellen Marie's family. I was very sorry to hear the news from my Mom, Caroline Hitch. Ellen was like a sister to Mom; although she will be greatly missed, fond memories will always remain.
