I have so many fun memories of Great Aunt Emma growing up and feel blessed that my children also have had the opportunity to experience her love and laughter. What a full life she led and was such a great example to so many people. She will be missed! Love and Prayers to all.
My deepest sympathies to Robert and the family. I was fortunate enough to see Emma this past July. Her mind was as sharp as ever. I am so glad we had that time together. I think of her now with Otnie, Edla and Grandma Selma having coffee and cookies together. Love, Karyn
I WILL ALWAYS REMEMBER THE VISITS WITH EMMA. SHE WAS A GRACIOUS HOSTESS. MY LAST MEMORIES OF HER ARE AT THE WATTON CHURCH BASEMENT AND THE MANY AFTER-CHURCH POT LUCKS. WE SEND OUR DEEPEST SYMPATHIES TO ROBERT AND THE FAMILY. GODS' PEACE. DICK AND MARY ANN SUOMELA HANSEN
Aunt Emma will be greatly missed. I'm thankful we were able to spend the afternoon with her at her home as well as at the family reunion. She was fun to visit and loved to tell her stories.
She will never be forgotten.
Love, Joyce & Rob Garcia

Mother and Emma were very good friends, she was a sweet lady. My sympathy to her family.
I have so many wonderful memories of visiting Emma during our stays with Grandma & Papa Godell...I'm happy that Maddie was able to meet her. Maddie was sad to learn of her passing as Emma made her feel so special during their visit. Our thoughts and prayers are with everyone during this difficult time.
We are sorry that we cannot attend Auntie Emma's funeral, but are happy to have visited with her in June on our way to Houghton. She loved to serve you a coffee table and play games too. She will be missed.
We were fortunate to visit with Emma in her home last September while we were in the area. I remember her and Ed from my very youth.
