ESTHER E. TAKALO, 88, of Pelkie, passed away Monday, September 1, 2008 at Bayside Village where she had beena resident patient for 4 years. She was born in Atlantic Mine on February 11, 1920 the daughter of the late August and Hil Read Obituary
I just found out that Esther died. I go to Bayside weekly Oct - May. She wasn't there and I did not ask anyone about her. I happen to see on the computer that she had died. I would stop in and chat with her for a few minutes. She was a very nice lady. I will miss our visits.

Lynnn, George and family I am so sorry to read of the loss of your mother. I was doubled shocked to also find that Jean had passed away. I live in Arizona so I keep tabs on the computer. I will keep you all in my prayers. Deepest Sympathy to you all.

I only had the opportunity to know Esther while she was a resident at Bayside as she was always so kind to my mother, Lempi Maki. Esther was my mother's friend and always spoke well of my mother. Yet Esther was also such a blessing and I so enjoyed sitting with her and also getting to know Lynn, who also has become a friend.
I only wish I had known all of you years before this season. God bless you all as you go thru this sad season. I will miss Esther's smile and kindness, too.
