EVELYN E. BERGERSON, 82, of Baraga, passed away Sunday, October 25, 2009, at Bayside Village, L'Anse where she had been a resident for several months. She was born in Nisula, MI.on January 19, 1927 the daughter of the late Matt an Read Obituary
Although it has been almost a month since Evelyn's departure I fondly remember her. It was a pleasure to get to know her during my midnight shifts. Memories may they help you esp. during these upcoming holidays. May she be @ peace w/God.
I know it's late , but I was thinking of Evelyn today...I learned alot from her about Auxiliary issues and really enjoyed listening to her stories. My thoughts and prayers are with everyone and she will be missed in many ways:) God's Peace!
Evelyn was on a retreat at Marygove when I was. Also knew her some from church and then at the nursing home. She was a sepcial lady. Cherish your memories. Ann Nelson
My deepest sympathy to Evelyn's family. I did not know Evelyn well but enjoyed the times she came into the phone company selling her Legion tickets. She sure was spunky and will be missed.
I remember sharing the fourth of July festivties with Auntie Ev, and the lovely Christmas cookies she would make. It was a blessing being her nephew. She will be truly missed by all I am sure. Our prayers go out to all of the family members. Love to all.
I got to know Evelyn when I was the American Legion Auxiliary U.P. President. What a lovely lady! My sincere sympathies go out to her family, friends, and to my Auxiliary sisters of Unit #444.

I have known Evelyn since I was about 9 years old, after that as summer kid, and now a permanent residents in Baraga. She always kept our American Legion Auxiliary parties and fundraisers lively.
