Dear Katie,

I'm sorry to hear about Jim's passing. I have very fond memory of Jim that I'd like to share with you.
I was working at one of apartments in L'Anse and Jim was "supervising" my progress. In the process of installing an outlet for an electric range I caused a short circuit and flashed my wire strippers. Jim and I looked at each other and started laughing so hard I started to cry. Jim reminded me of this event every time I saw him. It still makes me smile when I think of it and all the time I spent with him.
I credit a lot of my career success to Jim and I will never forget that.
You are in my thoughts and prayers.

Gabe Family- I grew up knowing Jimmy, My dad used to talk to him all the time. He was a great guy and he always had jokes to tell. He could always uplift a feeling of saddness just with a smile. He was always there to give a helping hand if somone needed it and Iam going to miss him. I always enjoyed talking to him. My prayers and thoughts are with you all the time.......

Dear Katie and Family, It hardly seemed possibly to hear about your loss. The years have just flown by and I'm sorry to say I haven't seen either of you for quite some time. You'll be in my prayers for God's peace and healing. You and Jim have been together a very long time and it will surly take time to fill the void. Because of his involvement in the community he will surly be missed by all.

Joe and Bill - A flash from the past. I saw Jim's obituary while visiting the Gazette's site. It's been a long time, but I still have memories of your family coming to the house in Gay. Also remember coming to L'Anse to visit your family. My sincere sympathy to all of the family. I live in Gainesville, Florida, and get up to Gay once a year to visit.
