LEMPI M. MAKI, 91, of Baraga, MI. passed away Sunday, April 10, 2011 at Bayside Village, L’Anse. She had been a resident there for several years. Lempi was born in South Range, MI. on February 18, 1920 the daughter of the late Wil Read Obituary

Our sympathy to the family of Lempi. I (Donald) lived in the Pelkie area during my youth and attended Pelkie & Baraga School, so I remember her very fondly. Also, as she was a member of the Pelkie Laestadian Lutheran Church, I recall her at Church, not too many years ago.
