Sorry to hear of cousin Ray's passing. When I still lived in Alston we had many good visits. One of my amusing memories of Ray was I stopped at the Village Bar and walked by Ray's black and shiny Lincoln Town Car and saw a bale of straw (or hay) in the back seat. I'm sure he will be missed.
Dear Carol & Family - We are so deeply saddend to hear of the loss of Ray. What fond memories I have of Ray and living in Alston. Always a word of wisdom (or at least that's what he called it) and a grin to make you wonder what he was really up to. Keep the memories close at heart and remember how loved you ALL are. May God bless you and keep His loving arms around you during this most difficult time.
Carol, Laurie, Jeff and Catherine, I'm so sorry that my cousin Ray is gone. He has always been a presence in my life, especially when we were growing up. Christmas Day didn't begin until the Hiltunens got there. He will be dearly missed at our family parties. I don't anyone who enjoyed them more. Last summer was special because the entire Hiltunen clan was there and we were able to reconnect with "the younger generation." It was wonderful to put faces to those grandchildren he was always bragging about. Ray was a wonderful guy and his passing will leave an empty spot in all of our lives. My thoughts are with you.
