RAYMOND F. HILTUNEN, age 71 of Nisula, MI. and formerly of Glen Ellyn passed away Thursday, February 18, 2010 at Delnor Hospital in St. Charles, IL.
Beloved husband of Carol (nee Beitzel), loving father of Laurie (Raymond) Kaurala, Jeffrey (Jonna), Catherine and the late Daniel, fond grandfather of Travis (Amber) Kaurala, Kyle Kaurala, Rayann Kaurala, Danielle Anderson, Megan, Sarah, Alli Joy Chruchwell and Bryce Churchwell, great grandfather of Jayden, Kaiden, and Kaylynn, fond brother of Lucille (the late Russell) Bartanen, Gerald (Donna), and Kathryn (Daniel) Harker. Ray was the co founder and owner of West Suburban Travelers Limousine Service since 1966.
Visitation will be Monday, February 22, 2010 from 2 p.m. until 9 p.m. at Brust Funeral Home, 414 N. Gary Ave, Carol Stream, IL. 60188
Local services for Mr. Hiltunen were held at 6 p.m on Thursday, February 25, 2010 at the Reid Funeral Service and Chapel, L'Anse with Father John Longbucco officiating. The family greeted friends at the funeral chapel on Thursday from 4 p.m. until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Mr. Hiltunen's honor may be directed to The Leukemia Society of America, 100 W. Monroe St., Ste. 1610, Chicago, IL. 60603. Envelopes are available at the funeral chapel.
