ROSEMARY SHULSTAD, 93, of Baraga passed away suddenly Thursday, December 13, 2007 at home. She was born in Baraga, MI. on May 22, 1914 the daughter of the late Peter A. and Rosalie (Robillard) Magnant. She graduated from Baraga Hi Read Obituary
I taught music in Baraga, 1963-67. Mrs. Shulstad ("Dutchie") was an organized, efficient, and, above all, caring secretary. She helped faculty keep their records straight, was a "Jewish mother" to students, and certainly made my first days on the job easier. She always went beyond the call of duty in assisting with band matters. Requiem in pace.

Your mom was a very special women. She gave me my first hair cut, my first perm. She was the one I would go to in school when I needed something instead of the school nurse. She was always loved by many.
She was so lucky to have such good care, to be able to live with her daughter and son-in-law.
She loved all of you and was so proud of her grandchildren.
She is now with Herb in Heaven.
